Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
To support children in returning to school after COVID-19 we have designed and implemented our personalised recovery curriculum.
Have you ever been in a hammock? How did you feel? Were you nervous? We tried out a hammock this afternoon. We followed this with a puppet show. It’s great to see the children playing with each other.
We have done lots of learning this half term. We thought about what things we had been doing and then we had a fire.
