Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
Seeing the children having fun and growing in the woods is the most amazing thing. Hearing them talking, playing and laughing are some of my favourite sounds. It’s always so lovely to hear them asking when it’s their turn to go to the woods, this tells me how much they enjoy and look forward to those experiences. There has been so much rain this week. Fortunately in the summer the leaves and trees help us to keep dry. The nursery children had a great time in the woods in Friday.
