Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
The nursery children are really confident to explore and play in the woods. It is great to see how their play has developed over the weeks and even during our new of our visits we see so many different types of play. Communication and relationships are a key part of the children’s play and experiences in the woods. I love seeing imagination developing and how magic and fun comes to…
