Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
The nursery children love to play in the woods. They impress me even more, every week, especially with how quickly they get ready before and after the woods.
Class 3 couldn’t wait to get to the woods this morning. We started by doing some art, the children created postcards with pictures of the woods and then they thought about what it is they like about going to the woods. I love how everyone’s work is different!
