Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
The nursery children loved being back in the woods today. We were so busy we didn’t manage to take many photographs. We loved showing our new friends the woods.
This morning class 8 created postcards showing the woods. They did them in the style of Van Gogh. We talked about how he used swirling brush strokes in a lot of his paintings. We had lots of time to play too.
