Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
I think I speak for all of the adults who were in the woods this morning when I say “We had a fabulous morning!” Being able to listen and see the children laughing and playing was such a pleasure.
Today was our last Wednesday afternoon in the woods. We finished off with a fire and marshmallows. Have a look at some of the things we did today.
