Statistics

Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.

Final day in the woods.

Class 1 and class 6 were our last groups in the woods today.  It’s time for the woods to have a rest now until September. I’ll be popping in to give it a bit of tlc and make some little changes.

Reception transition day

We were close to being rained off yesterday but we had a super day meeting new families and children who will be joining us in class 1 and 2 next year. I can tell we are going to have a great year next year. We had some first time marshmallow toasting too!
