Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
On Friday the first group of children went to the woods. We started our new school year off with a fabulous art week. Of course we took art to the woods and used some of the skills we had been using in class to create some amazing art in the woods. It was great to welcome some new faces to our woods.
