Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
Year 1 are working on portraits during art. We used our session this afternoon to draw portraits of themselves or a friend in the woods. We had lots of time to play too. We also had a first WCPS marshmallow moment!
It was a fabulous morning in the woods with these 3 boys.
