Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
It’s the start of the summer term and hopefully we will continue with some drier weather, just like today! Class 2 and class 5 have been to the woods today and had a great time.
It has been so lovely to be able to get back in the woods this half term. We missed it so much last half term when we couldn’t go because of the awful weather. That was for our safety and to look after the woods too. It is so lovely to see the new leaves and buds on the trees, the birds have really been singing too and I’ve noticed…
