Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
Today was our last Wednesday afternoon in the woods. We finished off with a fire and marshmallows. Have a look at some of the things we did today.
Today we talked about World Bee Day and about all of the important reasons we need to look after bees. In the way to the woods we noticed a few bees on some of the flowers. We also noticed the different types of flowers on our field. We found lots of worms in the woods!
