A crisp morning in the woods.

This morning the nursery children did lots of exploring in the woods. As always we made sure we knew some of the things that would help us to keep safe in the woods. At this time if year it is a little more tricky to see things on the floor so we really have to look carefully where we are going. Why do you think it’s difficult to see the paths in the woods at the moment?

Can you think if the things that we do or things that we don’t do in the woods to keep ourselves safe?

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
