Awareness of others

Towards the end of the week it felt a lot colder in the woods. When it is cold I have noticed that we have to be more aware of our surroundings and where our friends are. The cold makes us a little more unsteady or clumsy. The children are aware of things that could be hazards and have been able to keep themselves and each other safe.

Here are some pictures from the different groups who went to the woods on Thursday and Friday.

If you click on the link above I think it downloads a pic collage with a video of class 1.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
