Class 1 and the giant Beanstalk

The children really took Jack into their hearts and 2 weeks on are still acting out the story and talking about it. So this week despite the snow we decided to pretend it was spring and plant our own beans. We will watch them grow indoors and then transplant them to our vegetable bed outside.

Planting has opened up lots of conversation about the natural world and our environment. We will keep you posted on the plant growth and please do take a look when you are in class.

Mrs Green

Year 1 Teacher

I'm Mrs Green and I joined WCPS in September 2019. I am passionate about Early years and can usually be found on the floor with our super 5 and 6 year olds. This year I have moved to teach in Year one! When I'm not at school I'll be with my children and dog on a muddy walk.
