I told the children I had been finding out about Ancient Egypt. I found lots of information about different Egyptian gods and some of that reminded me of some woodland myths and legends.
We looked at some pictures of the Green Man
We created protection gods for in the woods.

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe."
