Finding the positives

There is so much that we can find to complain about and especially right now. Things are really different at the moment and have been for a long time.

I have been thinking that although I really miss spending time with lots of our children who are doing their learning at home I feel lucky that I am still able to take small groups in to the woods. You might think the woods would be quieter with fewer children but you would be wrong! There is so much chatter and laughter, it’s really great to see how some children are becoming more confident and expressive.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
