Rising Stars is a privately run setting based on the school premises.

Education & Learning
“Our Early Years vision and Ethos”
At Rising Stars we believe that play underpins the delivery of the EYFS curriculum. We pride ourselves on offering practical, hands on experiences through child initiated play and focused learning with adults in a purposeful, language rich environment. Children’s development is measured through an online tool; Tapestry, this gives parents the opportunity to contribute to their child’s development profile. Each child is assigned a Key Worker who will monitor individual child’s progress and plan focused activities from the children’s identified next steps.
Childcare
Rising Stars is open all year, closing only for Christmas/New Year and Bank Holidays. We offer private and funded childcare as well as wrap around care, after school club and holiday club. Opening times are 8am-6pm , for more information on session times and prices please email;

Funded childcare
At Rising Stars we offer spaces for funded childcare, for example; TYE (2 year old free 15 hours funding), EEF (3 & 4 year old 15 hour funding) and free 30 hours funding.
Food & drink
All food provided at Rising Stars is prepared onsite by our trained cook. We use fresh produce and follow national guidelines to ensure children are eating nutritional and healthy meals and snacks. We are able to cater to accommodate allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements. For drinks we offer water or milk as standard. Menus are available to view upon request.
Staff
All staff at our Daycare are well trained in their professions, ranging from Level 3 qualifications to BA Honours Degree. Staff attend regular training in various educational programmes to ensure the best practice and learning experience for the children in our care.
Outside agencies and how we support children
Here at Rising Stars we have vast experience of working with other professionals i.e. Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Paediatricians, Health Visitors, Social Care, Physio Therapists and many more. We accept and work with children of all abilities and will always adapt our practice to suit individual needs. We have staff that are trained and experience in make referrals to outside agencies to ensure the best team around a child with additional needs.
