Robinwood

Last weekend some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed a weekend on our annual residential to Robinwood. I was lucky to be able to part of the weekend and the children (and staff!) had an amazing time!

There were lots of wonderful opportunities for children to achieve over our 3 day, 2 night residential. Over our time there each group managed to take part in 15 exciting activities that challenged, developed teamwork and stimulated the imagination of everyone who took part.

One of the best things, for staff, at Robinwood is seeing children learning and working together in a different environment. This often resulted in a few surprises, with some children who are quieter in the classroom succeeding well beyond what had been expected!

Well done to everyone who came and a special thank you to Mr Howell, Miss Douglass and Miss Tindle who gave up their weekend so this trip could go ahead. Watch out for the letter informing you about next years visit, it will be sent out over the next half term.

I'm Mrs Paddock, and WCPS is one of my favourite places to be! I love being part of the exciting learning journey at WCPS and spending my days with the amazing staff, pupils and families. When I'm not at work I'm looking after my crazy children, Billy who is 13 and Lottie who is 6.
