Spring Term Forest School

Wow it is already the start of the second term at school.

This term has some of the coldest weather we have for Forest School. We would be very grateful if your child wears warm clothes and appropriate footwear on their forest school day.

We do have some spares but welcome any old scarves, hats, gloves and wellies that you may have.

As usual we will send texts out with dates for Forest School and I will post dates onto the Forest School blog for your information. Occasionally some of these dates may need to be changed or cancelled, however we do our best to reschedule if we have had to cancel a session to ensure every class gets at least one session each term.

It has been a little while since I posted our Forest School Handbook. This explains what we do, why we do it and how.

As always if you have any questions do please ask.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
