Week 5

Thank you so much for adding to your child’s early essence and for following us on twitter!

Last week we celebrated the arrival of autumn and this week we will be exploring that a bit more.

Our phonics has got off to a flying start and you may hear your child talking about phonemes (what it Sound like) and graphemes (what it is written down). They have flown with SATPIN and you may hear them using these phonemes as they read their books. This week we will focus on G O C K

This week we will focus on number formation and number recognition.

I'm Mrs Green and I joined WCPS in September 2019. I am passionate about Early years and can usually be found on the floor with our super 5 and 6 year olds. This year I have moved to teach in Year one! When I'm not at school I'll be with my children and dog on a muddy walk.
