Wet days and a frosty Wednesday

It rained so much last week that we nearly didn’t get to go to the woods at all. We don’t really mind the rain because we can wrap up but we also have to take care of the woods. It is quite small and we need to let it rest sometimes, especially when it is so wet and muddy.

Wednesday was a cold, dry day and we were able to go with class 2 and class 4.

There was even some frosty bits. It is always fun to hear the grass crunching as we walk on it.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
