Year 2 Fossil hunters

This week year 2 were helping Miss Digg from Barnsley museum. Some things had been found on a building site. The items had been placed in the woods for us to investigate and record our findings.

We found some unusual rocks, some of the children thought they were fossils and from a long time ago. We weren’t sure how they the images and patterns got on the rocks. I wonder if you could find out in your history lesson.

It rained so much for class 5 but they didn’t complain and had lots of fun. Class 6 had fabulous weather.
