Class 10 and 11 – British values and law makers

What an amazing morning with class 10. I love doing this activity around rules, laws and British values.  The children blew me away with their maturity and responsibility when discussing things but even more so with how they got on in the woods with the activities. We had so much fun, demonstrating not only British values, but our school rules and our forest school values.

The children became leaders of brand new nations, and with that came the responsibility of creating new laws. These could be serious, or funny but they had to be inclusive and fair and couldn’t leave out any specific groups.

Look at our pictures from this morning.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
