ART DAY

Everyone in school has been looking at this painting today.

It is called The Bridge at Sèvres by Alfre d Sisley.

The nursery children talked about what they could see in the painting before we went to the woods.

We looked at the clouds and how they moved in the sky. We talked about and did big patterns with our arms to make cloud shapes. In the woods we painted cloudy skies, built a bridge and pretended to go fishing.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
