Magical Woods

Something or someone had laid some eggs in a nest. Whatever was inside had hatched. The children designed and made traps to catch whatever had hatched. We didn’t want to hurt whoever we caught so we thought about this in our designs. The children made the traps cosy and safe. They worked together to build and design their traps.  Some of the children sat watching, ever so quietly hoping to catch a glimpse of what it was.

I wonder if we might catch something over the weekend when the woods are quiet.

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
