What a wonderful Wednesday

I spent a lot of the day thinking back and reflecting on Wednesday.

In the morning class 14 came to the woods, they are getting ready to leave WCPS. I have known some of these children since they were two! Perhaps some were even younger. With lockdowns, and covid and bubbles I haven’t been able to spend much time with most of them over the last year or so. This meant it was really noticeable how much they had grown and matured. I had a lovely morning with them.

In the afternoon class 4 came to the woods. They won’t come back to the woods until they are in year 2!

Gilly

Forest School Practitioner

I started work as an SEND teacher and I... scratch that...As one of the children once told me "You're just Gilly who plays out with us and helps us to be safe." I'm sometimes a pirate, sometimes a Viking, sometimes the crazy story teller but I always aim to make it fun. I'm just Gilly and Forest School is my jam!
